A delegation from the US Embassy of Ghana, yesterday, 18th November, paid a courtesy call on the Director General of NADMO, Hon. Eric Nana Agyemang-Prempeh at the NADMO headquarters in Accra.
The delegation was led by Lt. Col. MC Evers of US Army North Dakota (a National Guard at the National Headquarters)— the delegation included Brian Dehaai, Senior Director of Operations, Sandford World Clinic , Mr. Travis Spier, Director of Simulation and Pre-Hospital Care of Sanford Health.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss plans of aiding NADMO and its allies in multi hazards emergency response and capacity building on health and earthquake.
Hon. Agyemang-Prempeh thanked the team for their continuous support and assured them of coordinating the Ghana Ambulance service, Ghana Health Service and Ghana National Fire Service to be part of the capacity building and response plan.
The NADMO team that received the US delegation were Madam Ruth Arthur (Director of Disease and Epidemics, NADMO Ghana), Mr. Koranteng Abrokwa (Director of Planning and Research, NADMO Ghana), and Mr. Owusu Afriyie (Director of Administration, NADMO Ghana)
